BORDNER [Surnames: BORDNER, CHAPMAN, CONNOR, EWERS] BORDNER, MARVIN H. A well-known young farmer of Section 26, Lewistown Twp., who pursues his vocation. He is located in part of the paternal homestead which is his birthplace. He was born Sept. 23, 1875, a son of Moses and Margaret (Ewers) Bordner. He received his education in the district schools and since early manhood has bseen engaged in agricultural pursuits. He is the owner of 160 acres of the best land to be found in Lewistown Twp. On May 6, 1896 he was united in marriage to Iva B. Chapman, daughter of William H. and Clarinda (Connor) Chapman. This union has resulted in one child Moses, born Nov. 17, 1897. In politics he is with the Democratic party. He has been a member of the School Board, and fraternally he is affiliated with the K. of P., and M.W.A.
